That mitsuhiko opening gives me life.
Yeah I know this was unexpected for sure
Information in this episode:
1.Paris green is an inorganic compound. It is a highly toxic emerald-green crystalline powder that has been used as a rodenticide and insecticide. It is used in older books, some people weren't aware of its poisonous nature and who knew thought they would get poisoned only if they lick it.So people continued to used it as it protects book from insect damage.SO BE CAUTIOUS IF YOU SEE SOMETHING GREEN ON OLDER BOOKS!
2.When placed right-side up,the titles on the spines of American books are read from top to bottom, but European books are read from bottom up.
3.Some books are worth the million! I didn't know the books worth millions exist.I looked it up on google the most expensive book is worth $30.8 million ,which was brought by Bill Gates.
Ah okay then
number 2 is actually only correct if the publisher and cover designer wish that to happen. i've got a number of British and American versions of the same books... and guess what? their spines ARE EXACTLY THE SAME! i've got several Neil Gaiman and Simon R. Green books and their US and Brit. spines are identical. i don't collect rare or antique books so maybe, just maybe, 50 plus years ago and older books from Europe are like that. but modern ones aren't all like that.
additionally, paris green loses its efficacy as a poison just like normal arsenic. it is a volatile substance that will evaporate eventually over time leaving behind just the green pigment colorant. that Napoleon theory was because the wallpaper at the manor he was imprisoned in on Elba Island was colored with paris green dyes. most historians and chemists consulted on the lethality of arsenic as an inhalant have debunked the wallpaper theory in Napoleon's death. the former emperor had caught malaria more than once in Egypt and a relapse is often attributed to his decline on Elba.
all ALL rare and antique books are handled EXCLUSIVELY but trained people who ALWAYS WEAR PRISTINE CLEAN WHITE COTTON GLOVES! the oils, salts, and acids in your hands can mark and ruin old books and leave obvious to the naked eye fingerprints!
Surprised you took a break after this episode
hi im from episode one im gonna keep up with you guys in just 3 months😙😙😙
Oh, I binged watched it in 2017, I was watching about 30 episodes per day, so I kept up with them in less than a month, let me tell you, It's really worth it, even though some fillers are bad, it isn't boring at all, follow your own pace and ignore the negative comments, see you soon :D
Watch only the canon episodes, you will be finished with conan in 2 months (i.e, 510 episodes,) take it slowly and enjoy

I stayed to finish the episode because Genta was scolded for once. Like, finally someone scolded that brat.
Yeah I know
same
Welp, ep kinda boring more than usual :(
Bro, who tf is still watching this? And how is it going on for so long? 💀 And I don't care about your reasoning, it's rhetorical.
"Who tf is still watching this?" This is currently #2 most watched in Japan and #8 top airing Anime on MAL. Go check it out dude before commenting.
Yeah I know
if you watch only main story-line episodes then you would understand that why is this so popular.
Bruh you misunderstood. I was replying to his answer about who even watches it. And I watch the main storyline too so i know its popularity reasons.
Exactly
Uhh ok, sorry, my bad😅
The story is nice.
But I have to admit this episode was cringe :/
You should watch the movies and the actual lore episodes.
There's also some good episodes recommendations that you can find on YouTube!
This anime is kinda fir the people who have been here since the beginning xD
This was also very boring to add 😐
Some of the movies are great
I do!
Also, don’t bother asking if you’re not even interested on hearing the reasons of people who stay. You’re asking a question but don’t want to receive an answer so it doesn’t make sense to ask in the first place just for the drama even if you emphasized that it’s rhetorical.
If you have problems with the series, that’s okay. Just be quiet.
You keep quiet, we keep quiet, all will be good.
The end.
I am. And I'll continue to do so.
Oh, an attempted murder/sickness...a rarity on Conan....
